Candidate Profile

The primary function of the Financial Analyst is to partner with Scytl leadership to provide analytical support of the business. This role will leverage operational knowledge of the business and leverage data to make decisions that optimize business results and help the Company achieve its strategic growth objectives.

The ideal candidate has strong relevant experience as financial auditor or consultant, preferably in one of the top firms in Spain. With a hands-on attitude, this person will be able to dig into the task and show real value supporting corporate decision making from day one.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in Company, product and project profitability analysis.
  • Execute and deliver analytics packages to senior leadership, highlighting trends, forecasts, targets, etc.
  • Build analytical models that utilize both financial and non-financial data (KPIs) to forecast business performance.
  • Participate in strategic pricing initiatives.
  • Gain a comprehensive knowledge of the Company's product line, the competitive environment, and the market it addresses to better support functional initiatives and provide recommendations to business partners.
  • Conduct comparable analysis as necessary in support of key business metrics and objectives.
  • Participate in cross-functional business projects and analysis.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of process improvements.

Requirements

  • University degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 4-5 years of experience in audit or consulting firms
  • Advanced level of English, both written and spoken
  • Strong analytical skills in business performance and financial metrics are required
  • Financial modelling experience, including P&L forecasting
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word are required
  • Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines with emphasis on sustained accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present to the Management team of the Company..
  • Willingness to take on additional projects and multi-task with changing priorities, as necessary.
  • Thrives on ability to work autonomously.
  • Previous experience with US GAAP and IFRS will be a plus.
